A lot happened this year, to say the least. Netflix and Hulu expanded its offerings with original content like "Master of None" and "Casual." Beck won best album of the year over Beyoncé at the GRAMMYs, and people lost their minds. Kendrick Lamar released his critically acclaimed "To Pimp a Butterfly," and Adele said, "Hello." Taylor Swift's #GirlSquad took over the world on her "1989" tour. The force was awakened, shattering box office records. Feminism became trendy, and gay marriage was legalized in all 50 states. And those are just the highlights.
But these are my personal highlights, and they're a bit different. You may disagree with my choices — how could she leave out Sleater-Kinney's reunion album? — but here it is: a look back on Becca's 2015:

What I'm looking forward to in 2016: The "Ghostbusters," "Gilmore Girls" and "Twin Peaks" revamps (fingers crossed). "Deadpool," "Zoolander 2" and "Hail, Caesar!" The Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. New Kanye, Lady Gaga and Modest Mouse albums. Hillary 2016. More opportunities to wear stretchy pants, complain about New York weather and develop a palate for black coffee. It's all happening, people!
